Inside Eagle Point Provincial Park, and just 12 minutes outside Drayton Valley, you’ll find 20 km of groomed skiing trails stretching along the North Saskatchewan River. Beautiful views of the valley are waiting around the bends. A warming shelter in the staging area is a great place to gather before or after.

Enjoy a fun round of disc golf, courtesy of the Pembina Nordic Ski Club, when you visit Eagle Point Provincial Park! There are two courses to choose from: Slasher 9 or Action 9, and playing is free for families (although donations are appreciated to help with course upkeep).

X-country ski or snowshoe here in winter, or bike, hike or trail run your way through the 7 km of trails in spring, summer and fall. There are interpretive signs along the way too (scan them with your phone).

Doubling as the Pembina Nordic Ski Trails in winter, this trail system is located just 7 km northeast of Drayton Valley. Whatever the season, head out to enjoy fresh air and pretty views along the 16 km loop next to the North Saskatchewan River Valley.

Near the Willey West Campground inside Eagle Point Provincial Park, you’ll find the Hillside & Hilltop Trails System. The 9.7 km of interpretive trails are wonderful for hiking and biking in summer, and equally great for x-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter.

The Drayton Valley Horse Club maintains around 80 km of trails next to the Pembina River. The staging area has campsites, box corrals and tie stalls. Contact them to learn more about this community of horse lovers.
